Statement of Achievement: Fitness and Strength

Once you have completed 3 months of the Fitness and Strength Experiment, you can reassess your metrics from your hypothesis statement or statements. Remember, we are looking for a measurable improvement in strength and muscle mass and a measurable improvement in fitness. Then we are trying to see if those improvements have improved key elements of your body composition and metabolic profile.


In your notes, write down the fitness and strength estimates before and after the experiment and then write out the impact that those improvements has had on the metabolic metrics from your hypothesis statement. An example of a statement of achievement for this experiment is shown below.


My fitness level improved from an estimated V02 Max of 28 to an estimate of 32 and my grip strength from 28 kg to 35 kg.


At the same time, my triglyceride dropped from 225 to 100 and my body fat percentage dropped from 28% to 22%. I have achieved the goals from my fitness and strength hypothesis.
